Shannon's back! It's so marvelous parenting in a pair. I'd recommend it to anyone!
Highlights: air conditioning, cable including the NCIS marathon that sucked me in, a full automated washing machine, Shannon to hug and kiss, family all excited to squeeze and love the baby.
Lowlights: PJ screaming in the car, Shannon's grandma Margaret, and the flat tire.
Seriously, the baby no longer falls asleep very well in the car. She tries to roll on her side, can't, and then screams even more. On the drive back yesterday, I resorted to contorting my body so I could nurse her in the seat. It was unsafe for me, but worked. I hope that come December, we'll have figured out some new coping techniques or we'll never make it to St. Louis.
