Two month check-in

PJ is officially huge and healthy! She had her two month well-baby exam today and her are her stats:

weight - 13.2lbs (in the 95th percentile)
height - 24 in (96%)
head circumference - 16 in (90%)

She checked out fine and was having a marvelous time making faces and smiles at the doctor. Then came the vaccines. The rotavirus vaccine is oral. She kept spitting it up and then choked/gagged a bit. This caused her to throw up for the first time. Projectile is the right word; she spewed the entire contents of her little stomach (vaccine and milk) all over. We'll have to go back next week to try again.

Then came the three shots in her lovely pudgy thighs. She screamed and cried like I had never seen, totally red in the face and pissed off. Plus she looked fearful for the first time ever. It kind of broke our hearts. She nursed and got very drowsy on the ride home. She appears to have returned to her normal self, except she's still a bit sleepier than normal.
