Our cable box/DVR died yesterday leaving me with mere basic cable yesterday. I didn't realize how addictive the digital recorder had become until I could no longer pause tv nor watch Alton Brown whenever I wanted. How quickly one becomes acclimated to the fancy technology. Luckily Shannon is able to get a new box today that will be all ready for me to hookup when I get home.
