Shannon has left for Duluth. She'll be back tomorrow or Sunday, can't remember which. It's some vet conference. I feel I will be saying this often for the rest of my life: "it's some vet conference thingy..." and my voice will trail off. She'll be the first of us to head up to the northern town on the really big lake. She didn't take the camera though, so I'll try to get her to describe it well.

I'm thinking of going to see a movie by myself tonight. I haven't been in awhile, but what to see? Maybe "The Family Stone", maybe "The Squid and the Whale". I'm not really asking for suggestions, just telling you what's on my mind. But I guess you could tell me what you're doing tonight or this weekend.
