old post: c'mon feel the noise

So last night I went to the Tegan and Sara concert at the zoo by myself and it was good, very good. I can be hesitant about doing things on my own, but it's lovely. The vocals were a bit low at first but they balanced the sound out well (or maybe I just got used to it). Their banter between songs was funny and for their encore they did a cover of Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark (which tons of the young fans didn't even recognize until the chorus) which made me laugh. The good weather has been holding so sitting outside near the lake at the zoo with the ducks and geese around was fun. I wonder what the animals think of the summer concert series though.
