Gardening Notes:

• Free roaming dogs are not enough to deter deer completely. They like tasty cauliflower and bean plants.
• Successive plantings mean you are not inundated with potatoes at once. Same with early and late varieties of the same plants.
  
• Must buy scuffle hoe.
• Not sure who ate the growing pumpkins; blaming the groundhogs.
  
• Still looking for a better way to support tomatoes
