In our quest to share all our money and keep to a budget, I've been tracking all our purchases since September. I was using a template from Excel, but it wasn't what I wanted. For awhile I was working on my own template, until I realized Quicken came on Shannon's laptop last year. She didn't mind if I played around with it, so I input all our info and behold! It is fabulous and easy and smart. I can make graphs and reports and track trends. It's making sticking to a budget much more fun than I thought it could be.
