journey to the science musuem

Just last night, while Erin and Scott are still in town, we went to see Body Worlds at the Science Musuem. They picked me up from work, and grabed a bite to eat and a beer or two. Then we saw the OmniMax movie about the amazingness that is the human body. It was doubly fun because we were a little goofy from the beer and cheeesy nachos. After the movie, we wandered around a bit looking at stuff. Here they are looking at stuff and enjoying getting their pictures taken:

It was pretty in the museum, with the dinosaur bones, and the beautiful sunset.

Then it was our turn to wait in line for a bit to see the plastinated bodies. Despite the going nowhere, none of them could freaking hold still for the camera. Also, pretending to pick noses continue to be funny. I couldn't take pictures inside so this is the end of the photo adventures.

It wasn't so bad or weird. Mostly, even though I knew the bodies were real, they seemed like special effects. I thought it was worth it though despite the high admission cost. The exhibit was extended through December.

We did see the baby room. It had some fetuses that had been plasticized after they had been preserved in formaldahyde it seemed.
