Here's week two. I joined the two squares by picking up stitches and doing a three needle bind-off. The seam isn't invisible but I used a smaller size needle (size 3 when the squares are with a size 6) to keep the stitches as unobtrusive as possible.
Since I'm going to have to get more yarn, I think I'm going to stay in black, natural and cool colors. If I added in hot colors, I think the blanket would look too busy. But I'm new to color pairing, and I'm making my rules up for this blanket as I go.
