week 43

I'm so far behind, but the week of Thanksgiving was great. I highly recommend three day weeks. Having four days off was fantastic, like two weekends in a row, a fun weekend and a chore weekend. Shannon ended up being able to stay home two of the four days (thurs and sun). We three hung out and enjoyed each other. In terms of the holiday, we did a traditional meal. There was pumpkin and pecan pie. Here's a picture of PJ enjoying some of the dishes:

PJ is just progressing faster than I can process it. She's shaking her head from side to side. She's clapping. She loves to hold objects in her mouth. Here's some photographic evidence of that last achievement:

Lastly of note this week, we got a membership to the Children's Musuem in St. Paul. There's lots she can't do yet, but there's an awesome baby/toddler room with places to crawl and explore. She loved it. Here are the highlights from our first visit, the Friday after Thanksgiving:

And Children's Museums are the best place to take pictures--happy kids and bright colored props all at once!
